The Spending Lockout Shield is a strict self-discipline mechanism that blocks your access to high-temptation shopping, trading, or delivery apps (e.g., Amazon, Temu, Uber, Robinhood). When you open a locked app, WealthRank intercepts it and requires you to scan or justify your intended purchase before you can spend.

• Standard Mode: Soft discipline. If you open a locked app, you can choose to bypass the lock and spend, but doing so will deduct 50 Wisdom Points from your score. • Aggressive Mode: Absolute lock. If our AI issues a 'DO NOT PROCEED (STOP)' verdict on a scan, the app is completely locked for 5 hours. You cannot bypass it. This forces a cold cooling-off period.

• Accessibility Service: Enables WealthRank to detect when you launch a locked temptation app. • Display Over Other Apps (Overlay): Enables WealthRank to draw the secure lock screen over the temptation app. Privacy Guarantee: WealthRank runs locally to monitor app launches. We NEVER collect, save, or share any personal data, keystrokes, passwords, or usage analytics.

When you are under active spending temptation, it is very easy to turn off discipline controls on impulse. The 24-hour cool-down period ensures you cannot disable your locks instantly in the heat of the moment. Once requested, the shield remains active for 24 hours before you can toggle it off.

This is our ultimate accountability toggle. Once enabled, it blocks access to your device's Settings and package installers while the Lockout Shield is active. This prevents you from uninstalling WealthRank or forcing a system bypass to access your locked shopping apps.

You can launch a scan in multiple ways: • Voice Scan: Verbally describe the purchase and your reasoning (e.g., 'I want to buy a new $80 jacket because it\'s on sale'). • Barcode Scan: Scan the barcode of the item. • Photo Scan: Take a picture of the item. • Manual Input: Type in the name, price, and category manually.

• PROCEED (Green): Safe to purchase. Fits your budget and goals. • CAUTION (Yellow): Warning. Check if this is an emotional/impulsive purchase. • STOP (Red): High danger. This purchase negatively impacts your financial trajectory. It will trigger a lockdown if you are in Aggressive Mode.

The Wisdom Score is a dynamic indicator of your financial self-control. It starts at 0 and grows when you scan decisions, follow AI advice, build daily streaks, and increase your Emergency Fund. It drops if you bypass locked apps (-50 points) or ignore caution recommendations.

Your Wisdom Score determines your Financial Rank (e.g., Novice Saver, disciplined Adept, Wealth Master). Raising your rank unlocks new generative Future Self avatars in your Profile Screen, visualizing your financial growth and wisdom.
